Job Summary
In support of the strategic initiatives, the eBusiness Technology division seeks a Senior Development Lead responsible for designing and implementing solutions by leading application development efforts for high and medium complexity projects. These initiatives will employ advanced technologies and methodologies in order to deliver critical business functionality incrementally and adhering to architectural principles of reuse and multi-device deployment. This position will require partnering with other application development teams, eBusiness and IT Architecture, eBusiness Strategy and Execution office and other enterprise technology organizations.

Under limited supervision, performs expert programing, configuring, and/or analysis for impactful and visible projects. Manages the effective use of line of business resources for implementation of ongoing projects, enhancements, initiatives and/or problem resolution. Acts as subject matter expert across multiple applications, systems and technologies, leveraging technical and business knowledge to drive the planning and execution of complex initiatives. Participates in the design/ development process. Provides technical leadership on complex projects. Leads investigation and resolution efforts for critical, high impact problems and incidents. This job is a technical lead. This job does not lead others.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Able to expertly lead development efforts by assessing, designing, and developing applications development efforts, systems solutions that interface for multiple systems to achieve business and/ or technical requirements.
  • Strong technical skills to coach/mentor and direct development team on projects and assisting with development and infrastructure related activities as necessary to meet project objectives and timelines. Technologies may include: Mobile, Web Services, DBMS
  • Fully understands business applications and/or technical system environments in which the system operates. Demonstrates proficiency in business concepts.
  • Adopt and communicate new concepts, ideas, techniques, best practices, and technology patterns.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent work experience, minimum 5 years of work experience in related field Typically has 7 or more years of experience.

Job Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies
Technical Requirements:
  • Extensive knowledge of Web Development, Web services, WCF, MVC, and Web API
  • Strong knowledge and experience with all of the following web development languages JavaScript, XML, HTML5, CSS, skills
  • Knowledge/experience with an Agile methodology
  • Experienced in Node.JS, MongoDB, UCD and PCF
  • Experienced in .Net framework 4.0 or 4.5.2
  • NUnit or Similar framework Experience for Unit Testing, Test Driven Development
Communication Skills:
  • Ability to communicate thoughts/designs/ideas in an unambiguous manner.
  • Able to present complex technical concepts to audiences of varying size and level.
Business Knowledge & Partnership:
  • Able to develop and leverage business and/or vendor partnerships, consult on business priorities, and optimize value through solution identification aligned with business objectives, goals, and future technology direction.
