Job Summary

The immediate need exists to fill this role to support the approved multi-year Strategic Initiative Project work we have. In addition, we are building the bench to develop Tech Managers long term to support ongoing work in App Dev area. Our ability to deliver and scale is dependent on this role.

Under general supervision, provides intermediate programming, configuring and/or analysis skills for specific system assignments. Manages interaction between the systems and corporate technical support areas when additional support is required. Troubleshoots, conducts impact analysis, and escalates appropriately. Defines technical requirements and has ability to coordinate team resources to solve problems. This job does not lead others.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

-Work closely with the architecture team to develop detailed designs for business driven technical capabilities.

-Design innovative technology solutions to solve business needs.

-Design and Develop code that is scalable and maintainable.

-Collaborate with Architects to define solution

-Mentor technology team as to the best coding practices and design principles.

-Work collaboratively with the technical team to provide estimates and the execution plans for the work being done.

- Coding of the more complex technical solutions

- The first to implement new tools or techniques.

- Throughout the project lifecycle they are the technical 'go to' person.

- This role will report to Technical Development Manager

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge

Related Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent work experience, minimum 3 years of work experience in related field. Typically has 5 or more years of experience.

5+ years' experience developing and designing web based software

Technologies: MVC, .Net, C#, JavaScript, SQL (DB2, SQL Server, Oracle)

Skills/Competencies: Web programming, object-oriented design, Technical leadership, verbal and written communication.

Desirable: IBM Mainframe skills, working experience with on/offshore vendor teams.
