Job Summary
The IT team in our Bond & Specialty Insurance group is a fast moving application development organization supporting all development methodologies - waterfall, incremental and agile. The Bond Development Operations team provides support to all of Bond and Specialty Insurance's application development via the following disciplines: build & deployment, release management, change management, and access management.

BOND & SI IT is seeking a technical resource to join our team. The successful candidate will have a combination of solid technical skills and strong coordination and planning capabilities. The resource will be responsible for day to day activities within the change management practice.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Participate in Enterprise cross-impact and change advisory board (CAB) meetings to become familiar with all changes being proposed/implemented that could potentially impact Bond
  • Perform assessments on changes impacting Bond, including identifying stakeholders and impacted applications, coordinating testing and checkout activities, and documenting signoffs
  • Develop a working knowledge of Bond's applications and various infrastructure assets in order to perform testing and checkout activities when necessary
  • Maintain and operate tools used within DevOps, including Remedy, Rally, CA Workload Automation (Autosys), and SharePoint
  • Manage tracking and reporting of release & change metrics and the associated details
  • Comply with Enterprise Change Management (ECM) standards and related procedures across development, system test, user acceptance testing and production environments. Includes coordinating, creating, approving and monitoring of required change (Remedy) tickets.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the change management arena. Look for improvements opportunities within our standard activities, make suggestions, vet with appropriate staff and implement.

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required. 1 year of programming/development experience required.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. 3 years of programming/development experience preferred.
