The Enrollment team supports the implementation of our products involving third party technology solutions. They support the presentation of products for Customers and process that data into policies and payroll deduction files. The team supports the closing of the sale as well as implementation of our products on enrollment platforms, the processing of electronic data and the service of perpetual data files throughout the year.
The Operations team works in partnership with the Sales Leaders to market and deliver enrollment technology solutions to Employers and Brokers to influence the decision making process to award Allstate Benefits the business. Primary focus is providing electronic enrollment solutions for large and mega cases (500+ employees). They initiate activity based on a sales request and coordinate a diverse set of tasks with external business partners who include Employer, Broker, Enrollment Entity and Technology Vendor.
The Assoc Manager provides leadership and direction for a team of Technology Sales Consultants and Enrollment Solutions Engineers to drive electronic premium sales and operational effectiveness. This leader manages client expectations by providing electronic sales solutions through the implementation of enrollment technology that enables Allstate Benefits voluntary products to be enrolled on external proprietary enrollment systems. The position requires strong partnership with internal departments including New Business, Compliance, and Information Technology to facilitate the entire technical implementation process from product specifications, testing, data analysis, data processing and reporting.
Lead and supports integrated work teams focused on newly acquired business and in-force management of customers, creating a culture this is externally focused and seen as knowledgeable, flexible and acting with a sense of urgency.
Lead cross-functional team of Technical Sales Consultants and Enrollment Solutions Engineers to develop and execute enrollment strategies inclusive of technology, process and procedures to meet financial, compliance and operational goals.
Develops scalable business plans and operational processes to ensure business objectives are achieved and any barriers to success are addressed in a timely and professional manner in accordance with client expectations.
Collaborates closely with internal business areas, field sales distribution, implementation, finance, compliance, underwriting, new business, customer service and IT, to effectively recognize and solve case level enrollment strategy issues.
Collaborates with these cross functional partners to drive sales revenue strategies, client retention and consumer persistency.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to field sales distribution, brokers and technology partners regarding enrollment strategies to support Allstate Benefits products
Conduct/attend meetings with Senior Leadership to provide critical information as it relates to implementation of procedures, project definition and status reviews,
Facilitate and conduct reporting and planning calls with Field Sales Leaders
Take bold actions in building leadership, diversity and high performing talent to meet current and future business challenges; engaging employees in the corporate vision, inspiring commitment to the organizational strategy and the role each employee has towards the success of Allstate Benefits.
- BA/BS degree required.
- 5 years + experience in employee benefits, insurance industry or similar industry.
- Ability and experience working in a fast-paced team environment under strict and often conflicting deadlines
- Proven leadership and project management skills,
- Highly analytical and technical orientation. Creative problem solving and critical thinking skills – ability to think outside of the box.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills – both in presentation style with large groups and informally with smaller groups
- Strong skills in data testing, auditing, analysis and reporting
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization to influence and drive partner strategies
- Strong relationship management and conflict management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of industry or Allstate Benefits' products and employee enrollment experience for all product lines and enrollment methods.
