Job Description

This role directly oversees all Continuous Improvement (CI) deployments associated with multiple value streams within one or more highly complex business areas (AoR). The role is responsible for using the deployment of the CI system and framework to drive improved customer experience, employee engagement and business results. The role acts as a key partner to senior (AOR) business leaders and is responsible for overseeing and developing CI deployment managers and lead change agents.

Establishes deep understanding of deployed organization's operating model and identifies opportunities for improvement
Partners with the AoR in building and executing on potential design improvements while ensuring identification of key measures of success
With support of CI-SVP - designs and implements strategic direction of the continuous improvement center of excellence (CoE)
Oversees execution of the CI management framework within complex businesses (AoRs)
Partners with sustainability lead to ensure deployed organizations successfully transfer to CI sustainability phase
Ensures strategic alignment between CI deployment function and CI sustainability
Develop CI Strategy / enterprise roadmap of CI Implementation based on industry best standards
Serve as an expert coach for Sr. level business leaders, deployment managers and lead change agents on the implementation of CI/lean methodology
Influence Allstate executive level leadership team to enable adoption of CI/Lean practices across the enterprise
Build and Develop the lean methodology/ CI-related capabilities within the CI-CoE and across the enterprise

Oversees all CI deployments associated with multiple value streams within one or more complex business areas (AoR)
Oversees the identification of opportunity areas and the design and execution of solutions to these opportunity areas within a business unit
Evaluates the effectiveness of and develops recommendations to improve internal CI program processes
Gathers input from and aligns the right support functions to both inform design choices and ensure necessary execution elements are in place
Develops input and recommendation to CI leadership during CI Advisory Committee and business unit leadership meetings
Leads client contracting conversations of a complex nature to ensure client needs are identified, desired outcomes are understood, and consultants' role is clear
Accountable for on-time, on-budget successful deployments

Provides coaching and consultation to senior leaders to increase personnel and organizational effectiveness
Sets standards for and directs large-scale project teams with multiple work streams across practice areas
Builds, cultivates, and maintains long-term business relationships with other leaders, including relationships with executive management
Leverages relationships with other internal key consulting partners and shared services functions to enhance effectiveness of CI
Coaches, mentors and influences deployment managers and lead change agents to accomplish CI and company goals
Provides formal and informal performance feedback to all project team members - identifying areas for strength and opportunity as well as suggestions for development
Actively involved in the develop of a clearly defined employee value proposition (EVP) within the CI-CoE
Ensures that the CI-CoE delivers solutions that impede the EVP and evaluates effectiveness with which the EVP is delivered to the CI-CoE
Oversees the development and execution of clear talent management processes (e.g., recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, engagement, succession management, development, off boarding) within the CI-CoE

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required
MBA or industrial engineering degree preferred
Significant travel obligations (Monday – Thursday)
7-10 years of team leadership experience preferred
Proven success with large –scale CI/Lean deployment
Business unit subject matter expert preferred
Experience with large-scale organizational change effort or large complex projects
Experience in training and coaching of frontline employees and leaders
Advanced verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to interact effectively and professionally with a wide variety of internal and external clients
Demonstrate experience successfully leading/facilitating/or participating in complex projects, involving ambiguity with input into the strategic planning experience.
Ability and confidence to present complex data to executive level leaders
Advanced Microsoft Suite skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Project. Visio for Organizational Design only)
