LoVullo Associates, Inc., an innovative, well-established, leading distributor of specialty excess and surplus insurance products and services throughout the Northeastern United States, is looking for a Personal Lines Underwriter to work with a first-class team of insurance producers.


  • Candidates must have at least 3 years of Personal Lines experience, specifically in property-related areas such as homeowners, dwelling fire, and umbrella

  • A current NYS Broker's or Agent's license is required, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred

  • Responsible for reviewing applications for all lines of personal insurance to determine underwriting eligibility as well as new and/or renewal business submissions, providing rate quotes for applications, and placing acceptable risks with a wide array of carriers

  • Must maintain timely sales and service goals as outlined by the Personal Lines Manager, including maintaining positive relationships with current brokers through marketing efforts as well as handling all client communication and inquiries

  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, as well as computer/technology skills, and have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
