We have an opening in Tampa, FL OR Indianapolis, IN office for a Supervisor, Quality Control. The Quality Control Supervisor assists Quality Control Management in the oversight of day to day functions within the Quality Control Department by managing support systems; handling service related escalations; supporting the execution of policies and standard operating procedures; identify trends and opportunities for improvement; develop and deliver reporting to Management; support effective and compliant operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Management as needed in overseeing the day to day operations including, but not limited to: scheduling, payroll, performance evaluations, auditing processes, special project research, training, disciplinary policies, and control center management.
  • Monitor individual and department daily production reporting including but not limited to: phone metrics, daily production summary, daily operating summary, etc. to ensure successful operation of the department.
  • Collaborate with QC Appraisal Advocates in providing recommendations to QC Management for training, coaching and mentoring of new hires and existing associates.
  • Assist Management as needed to build and maintain a skilled, successful, and motivated team through coaching, mentoring and training.
  • Collaborate with Operational Performance and StreetLinks University to develop and deliver performance results.
  • Collaborate with QC Appraisal Advocates to conduct and request audits for PCRs/Deceptive Practices/Compliance and Policy Adherence
  • Collaborate with QC Appraisal Advocates to evaluate and recommend CSUGs modifications
  • Collaborate regularly with other department supervisors to identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Inform department manager of all employee issues or department concerns as they arise.
  • Ensure implementation of protocol, policies and procedures which ensure clients' expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Encourage and promote the understanding of departments with which Quality Control and Appeals interact.
  • Conduct task time studies on the team to ensure performance standards are in line with business needs.
  • Perform staff evaluations and make recommendations regarding performance – Monthly, Quarterly and Annually.
  • Hold regularly scheduled meetings to provide associates with goals, objectives, reinforce current directives.
  • Oversee a team of QC Associates with responsibilities including, onboarding, development, performance assessment, recognition, discipline and dismissal as appropriate.
  • Ensure QC Associates have received adequate training and meet the performance expectations of the position.
  • Manage department payroll, time tracking and overtime through company HRIS system and manage as needed
  • Monitor departmental performance through the regular evaluation of metrics.
  • Maintain team production expectations by facilitating the success of QC Associates.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1 Year Management/Leadership Experience required
  • Minimum two years using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, data-entry, and internet
Preferred Qualifications
  • College Degree Preferred
  • 2 Years appraisal review experience required (i.e., former underwriter, processor, originations/operations manager)
  • Candidates are required to take and pass the National USPAP Equivalency exam after 90 day probationary period
  • Industry knowledge
  • Communicates effectively both orally and written
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to interact with peers and managers with tact and diplomacy
  • Team spirited, but able to work individually as well
  • Good time management skills
