DescriptionResponsibilities will include financial platform integration of new acquisitions. Including developing and maintaining a detailed model to convert GL history of acquired companies to the AmTrust Oracle key. This role will also take point on the development and maintenance of Oracle GL financial reports including, most importantly, those used for consolidations, SEC reporting and regulatory reporting using Oracle FSGs, Discoverer and Oracle Hyperion Essbase. Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Consult with users at all levels of the organization to understand and document report requirements including level of detail and timing.
  • Recommend the reporting platform that would most effectively meet the requirements. Help users in the efficient use of reporting tools.
  • Develop FSG, Discoverer and/or Hyperion report components to provide reports in the most efficient manner.
  • Assist in post-acquisition integration activities including building and maintaining an account key mapping tool in Excel.
  • Will work extensively on computer and must be able to work in a detailed accounting key and environment including multiple currencies.
  • Make recommendations regarding the parent/child structures to facilitate reporting and data usability.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with the accounting and Oracle teams.
  • Analyze existing reports; recognize opportunities to provide more efficient solutions.
  • Maintain timely, relevant communications with all constituencies.

    Position Requirements Must have 2+ years experience with Oracle EBS (11i or R12) including FSG configuration and Discoverer.  4 yr. degree in accounting, finance or related  Working knowledge Hyperion Enterprise  Strong working knowledge of financial statements and terms.  Working knowledge of the insurance industry  Ability to analyze report information to identify root causes and develop loss sensitive recommendations.  Must be able to work remotely and at times travel.  Ability to speak Spanish would be helpful
