This is an entry level position into project management, responsible for strategic development initiatives, and will maintain and monitor these initiatives from inception to implementation. This position is also responsible for working with all business units, in order to obtain input in regards to these projects, communicate final project scopes to individual stakeholders, and manage prioritization and execution of all said projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop process improvement recommendations Compare company's practices and strategies to competitors' current practices Manage strategic projects involving prioritization, leadership and execution Act as liaison between various levels of personnel to improve communications and implement strategic plans Participate in the review and reassessment of initiative assumptions and completion dates Help refine the initiatives or objectives if necessary and support the development of new initiatives that were not anticipated in the original plan Support new business activity where required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS Self-starter with passion, energy, enthusiasm to drive results and affect meaningful change Flexible and adaptable while maintaining positive attitude Views challenges as opportunities; tenacious and focused Ability to manage multiple priorities, establish work flows and meet necessary deadlines Ability to interact with others to build consensus and get decisions implemented A quick learner, who demonstrates initiative and the ability to work both independently and as a member of multiple teams Excellent analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills Strong knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures Excellent attention to detail and follow up skills Excellent oral and written communication skills.
