General Summary

The Graphic Designer works closely with internal company contacts to understand requirements and create effective graphic designs through available mediums. Works on multiple projects concurrently while working both independently and within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Format and combined text, numerical data, photographs, charts and other visual graphic elements to produce publication-ready material.

2. Manipulate digital images, design page layouts, typeset and do color separation.

3. Maintain digital assets collection, including photo and print production archives.

4. Provide instructions or directly assemble and prepare final layouts for printer.


Minimum Experience / Education: A two- or four-year degree in graphic design or a related field required, in addition to continuing education in designing for both electronic and print media.

Communication and Collaboration Skills: Written: Demonstrated proofreading skills, including knowledge of the English language and grammar, required. Oral: Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.

Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and macOS required. Must work effectively within budgets and objectives established by project sponsors.

Problem Solving: This position requires strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse corporate environment. Works on problems of a diverse scope using generally defined practices and policies to obtain solutions.
