RLI's Surety division is looking for a Technical Account Representative to work in our Peoria, IL home office. The main duties of this position will include:

-Provide frontline customer support to customers and employees relating to surety automation systems.

-Create marketing material and design forms to support surety automation systems.

-Assist sales initiatives by promoting surety products and automated solutions to existing customers and prospects.

-Gather and analyze system and bond type requirements from management, external users, and other third-party entities for implementation in the automated surety system.

-Coordinate with other departments to discover, research, test, and implement solutions to automation issues experienced by customers and third-party entities.

-Conduct online and in-person training sessions on surety applications to existing customers and prospects.

-Assist in special projects and other duties as needed

Required Skills

-Familiarity with/knowledge of XML.

-Ability to utilize available tools such as Adobe Output Designer, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and and Adobe LiveCycle Designer.

-Ability to market and sell RLI and Surety products to customers.

-Ability to communicate professionally and effectively to external customers regarding automated surety processes.

-Ability to use analytical methods in surety automation processes to find workable solutions.

-Ability to assist with sales presentation to customers and create documentation to support the presentations.

-Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to internal contacts, customers, and third-party entities on surety matters.

-Ability to use software to summarize and analyze large amounts of data.

Required Experience

Requires a bachelor's degree in business, graphic design, communications, computer science, or a similar field with 1-2 years of related experience in a similar field or position preferred.
