As a critical key member of our front-line team your contributions will have a direct impact on that commitment. Your marketing duties will include generating profitable production from your assigned territory (Oregon) by promoting products to develop existing agencies, as well as prospecting and appointing new agencies.   • Demonstrate strong people skills, communication skills, and negotiation skills

  • The position will frequently involve irregular and extended working hours. Overnight travel is required. The use of a company vehicle will require an acceptable driving record

Must possess:

  • Four year college degree strongly desired
  • At least five years marketing and/or underwriting experience with a property and casualty insurance company
  • Conceptual knowledge of underwriting, claims, loss control, premium audit and accounting functions

Preferred to also have:

  • Additional educational achievement, related to insurance, is highly preferred. Examples would be CPCU, CIC, etc.
