Provide review, analysis and advice to business partners regarding the development, filing, regulatory approval and marketing and distribution of various specialty risk/extended warranty products, including.Provide strategic direction for policy filing projects in support of the Specialty Risk Division's new program initiatives in North America.Participate in multi-discipline development teams to design new product offerings as well as enhance, amend, or otherwise update current product offerings to achieve maximum underwriting flexibility in accordance with state regulatory requirements.Participate in multi-discipline development teams to provide the executive team with an assessment of the industry's competitor tactics, market trends and/or regulatory changes.Provide guidance to Product Development, Underwriters and Program Managers on (1) policy form design and filing strategy in admitted markets; and (2) the use of alternative markets including NY FTZ, Deregulation, Surplus lines and other market options where necessary or desiredServe as a technical resource for product and policy filing-related questions to internal and external MGA clients / stakeholders.Assist in the development of related material for product implementation, bulletins, online manuals, and other general client communication related to product offerings.Ongoing monitoring and interpretation of all relevant regulatory body requirements applicable to various specialty risk/extended warrant products and enhancements to be marketed and distributed by the company.State-by-state understanding of specialty risk/extended warranty regulations as they apply to sophisticated and creative products in this segment of our business.Assist in the development of related material for product implementation, bulletins, online manuals, and other general client communication related to product offerings.

DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Position Requirements+ Minimum 7 years of relevant regulatory experience in property & casualty insurance, with an emphasis supporting specialty risk and related product programs for dealers, retailers and financial institutions including but not limited to, mechanical breakdown protection programs for automotive and consumer goods, mobile electronic equipment protection programs, debt protection / debt cancellation, credit protection, guaranteed asset protection (GAP), LSI / CPI, involuntary unemployment protection and credit card enhancement products.Experience supporting product management, product development, and underwriting strongly preferredBroad regulatory background with exposure to a variety of issues, including insurance coverage, end-user agreements, rate development and general regulatory matters preferred.Bachelor's Degree or other relevant combination of education and industry experience;Proficient in analytics and strategic planning, consensus building and negotiating skills; ability to organize data and documents with close attention to detail;Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; andMust be able to effectively handle multiple and diverse workloadOccasional travel
