DescriptionThe Corporate Compliance Administrator is responsible for providing administrative/secretarial support to the Compliance Department in various ways, including entity management support; backup support for the administration of consumer complaints and regulatory intelligence; tracking of all corporate/insurance licenses and certain filings with regulatory agencies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED):
  • Draft and coordinate execution of subsidiary governance documents as requested, including written resolutions, articles of incorporation, bylaws, operating agreements, merger agreements, articles of merger, jurisdictional filings and other documents in compliance with company policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintain corporate records within an entity management system.
  • Serve as backup for the administration of consumer complaints and regulatory intelligence.
  • Ensure that all corporate/insurance licenses are current and on file within the department.
  • Track and/or process certain filings submitted to the various regulatory agencies, including expansion applications; holding company filings; and biographical affidavits & fingerprints.
  • Provide direct administrative/secretarial support to two attorneys within the department.
  • Open and distribute mail.
  • Copy, fax, and file as needed.
  • Other administrative/secretarial duties as required.

    Position Requirements
  • Corporate legal secretary experience required; paralegal experience highly preferred
  • Experience working in a legal and/or regulatory compliance environment
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Advanced organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Able to efficiently multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills. Will communicate with all levels at both corporate and operating companies and with external parties.
  • Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment
  • Works well with others in a diverse team environment and independently
  • Flexible with overtime
