The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills. The candidate must display the ability to manage multiple priorities and exercise judgment in decision making. Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to interact with all levels are essential, and the individual must be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Must demonstrate a high level of initiative and the ability to plan and organize complex requests. Record of success and dependability in current position. Excellent PC and system skills required. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred. Ability to learn systems.
With an understanding of Surety business and procedures, will execute or arrange for the execution of bid/final bonds, riders, consents, releases, cancellations, etc., for customers. Processes all surety data (including new lines, changes, premium adjustments, cancellations, status inquiries, etc.) in Cornerstone Bonds and the Surety Information System (SIS). Rates and codes bonds, as well as checks data for accuracy. Deals directly with producers on premium collection issues. Works directly with customers, producers, and branch offices on non-underwriting issues. Assists customers with execution/countersignature requirements and arrangements countrywide, and assists other Chubb Surety offices.
