As a key member of the Chubb Foreign Casualty team, the executive underwriter will contribute to the achievement of regional profitability and production results through the growth, development, and underwriting of Private/NFP Management Liability products. In addition this position is responsible for establishing and cultivating business relationships with brokers, clients and other relevant spheres of influence within the assigned territory to assure the continued flow of new business opportunities.


-Evaluate, select, underwrite, price, quote and maintain profitable new and renewal business;
-Produce new business opportunities within the territory;
-Retain accounts through active participation in Chubb Stewardship process and superior client servicing;
-Coordinate production efforts with other Chubb underwriting divisions to identify account expansion opportunities;
-Work with the regional manager to develop and implement marketing plans with brokers and clients in the territory.


-College degree in insurance, business or related fields or equivalent experience.
-At least 5 years commercial management liability experience

-Knowledge of Controlled Master Programs and international casualty underwriting principles highly desirable
-Superior communication, interpersonal, organizational and negotiating skills
-Superior analytical skills needed to evaluate and develop Controlled Master Program submissions
-Excellent sales and marketing skills

-Advanced computer skills preferred
