Job Purpose:/Objective:

  • To manage the regional Key Travel insurance Accounts customers assigned in order to achieve premium production and profit objectives.

  • Define strategies to growth the current production from the customer.

  • Translate the strategies into achievable action plans that contain objectives, targets, tactics, indicators and measurable results.

  • Identify business risks and liabilities that might jeopardize the achievement of the plan, and fix them in a way that guarantees the opportunities of success in the long term.

  • Closely monitor the performance indicators of the accounts including: Premium, claims, expenses, commission paid, Combined Ratio, etc. and work closely with the A&H responsible from the country and the regional travel underwriter to implement actions to correct such indicators if deviations are found.

  • Plan and execute regular conference calls with the customers and also a regular face to face visit together with the responsible A&H from the country where the account is located, to monitor the progress of the action plan.

  • Defines Initiatives to improve sales conversion and increase average premium.

  • Work with the customer and the supporting areas of the countries to launch new markets and selling channels.

  • Innovates on products, technologies etc. to enhance customers experience with Chubb.

  • Tracks the competitive landscape to ensure we provide customers the best of the market.


Experience/Knowledge Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate must have held Sr. level positions in reputable organizations. Three (3) plus years of commercial/managerial experience preferred.

  • Experience in multinational company, preferably gained in the travel industry, travel insurance or travel assistance company.

  • Knowledge of the Latin American Market.

  • Demonstrated pattern of achieving results and objectives in previous roles.

  • Experience in developing markets. It will be a plus if the candidate has experience on cultural turn-around.

  • Desired completely Bilingual/trilingual – English / Spanish / Portuguese

    Personal Competencies Required:

  • An individual with an international experience abroad would be certainly a plus. A full command of Spanish and English is mandatory and Portuguese desired.

    Education and Other Requirements:

  • A college degree in Business Administration or Marketing is a must. Completed graduate study at the level of an MBA degree is better yet not a condition.
