Responsible for managing the overall profitability and growth for auto insurance within selected states or regions.
1.) Leads pricing team in working with the field sales group and other business partners to develop state profit and growth strategies by dissecting and managing data at a cellular level to optimize pricing, risk selection, portfolio mix, market segmentation and competitive position.
2.) Identifies key business levers and priorities to drive the business.
3.) Communicates results and priorities to all levels of the organization, while helping to maximize resources

Minimum Experience / Education:
- Minimum of 10 years Product Management, Property Casualty Underwriting, Actuarial or Field Sales Experience.
- Experience within the independent agency distribution system is beneficial. A minimum of 5 years management experience is required.
- Bachelor's Degree (and/or Master's Degree) in business, finance, mathematics, actuarial science or related field is required.

Communication and Collaboration Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for internal and external audiences. Effective communication skills are necessary to articulate issues, recommendations, solutions and directions to a variety of audiences including the company's senior officers, regional field leadership, business partners and independent agents. Must be able to explain, engage and inspire audiences towards vision and business objectives.

Problem Solving:
Advanced problem solving and analytic skills required. Must maintain an awareness of internal/external forces, business directions, financial dynamics and new technologies that can significantly impact future effectiveness & efficiency of the new organization. Responsible for continual improvement in product management methodologies and procedures.
