As a Claims Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for driving, executing and maintaining quality excellence by reviewing and auditing processed claims. Desirable candidates will be able to effectively:

  • Audit claims in a timely fashion using a set list of criteria and document findings in the system

  • Select claim files to audit based on provided guidelines (The audits will be both focused and random)

  • Assist with collection of data to support audit statistics and Key Performance Indicators

  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports

  • Offer up suggestions to improve service and claims handling quality

  • Actively participate in round table discussions regarding best practices

  • Execute test plans for QA related system implementations and upgrades

  • Monitor claims and compliance procedures regularly, and apply knowledge to audit practices

  • Maintain favorable working relationship with all stakeholders to foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate

  • Adhere to all company and departmental standards

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and background that we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred, equivalent work experience in the Claims field considered in lieu of a degree

  • Prior claims adjusting experience is strongly preferred

  • Strong background and experience with establishing and maintaining good working relationships

  • Comprehensive data manipulation, including comparing and contrasting multiple points of data

  • Strong analytical reasoning and critical thinking skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs

  • Ability to interpret and write reports, charts, and other business correspondences
