The Company employs more than 6,500 people. In 2015, AmTrust generated over $4.6b in revenue and over $550m in pre-tax income. We are seeking an analyst to join our Strategic Development group. The analyst will be expected to facilitate AmTrust's extensive M&A activity and will be depended upon for company analysis, valuation, market analysis, presentations and diligence processes. The analyst is expected to have a deep desire to learn and grow as a finance professional. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and analyzing financial models including operating and accretion/dilution models
  • Organizing and conducting due diligence on potential acquisition targets taking into account the relevant areas of concern (Financial, Legal, HR, Tax, IT, environment and market/commercial situation of the company).
  • Creating and editing board presentations as well as acquired operating subsidiary presentations.
  • Working as a key liaison to business segments, transaction advisors and acquisition targets.
  • Researching potential M&A targets

    Position Requirements+ Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or the like.
  • 1-2 years of investment banking or private equity experience. No more than 3 years.
  • Strong quantitative and finance skills (with an emphasis on valuation and corporate finance skills), strong transactional experience, and an outstanding record of professional and academic achievement.
  • Detail-oriented, very organized and able to work as part of a team.
  • Experience handling multiple projects at any given time.
  • Demonstrable interest in investing and learning about companies.
  • Insurance knowledge a plus but not require # LINKEDIN
