Become a member of Acadia’s Loss Control team and have a direct impact on customer service and meeting our corporate goals. We currently have an opening for a Loss Control Technical Specialist. Responsibilities of this role include the development and maintenance of technical material, delivery of training sessions and communication with employees and customers on various technical subjects. The Loss Control Technical Specialist will work closely with our Claims and Underwriting Departments in order to bring relevant and effective risk management information to our internal and external customers.
If you have prior commercial loss control and management experience with an insurance company, we’d love to meet you. Our ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with excellent communication skills. A bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license is required. We will give preference to those candidates with a degree in occupational health and safety, engineering or science. Professional credentials such as CSP, ALCM, PE, or CIH are also a plus.
