General Summary

This position is the top level position of the developer family. Under limited supervision, develop and modify complex detailed specifications and application programs. The individual will have top level expertise in all phases of application development. Acts as a lead to provide technical guidance on complex projects including instructing, directing and reviewing the work of other developers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze, design, develop complex technical specifications according to business requirements per company standards. Requires collaboration with system architects, vendors, and business partners.
2. Analyze, design, develop and test complex application tasks per technical specifications.
3. Work as a lead with various business departments and other IT members.
4. Work effectively with multiple assignments and teams to meet completion dates.
5. Be available 24x7 for on-call/off hours support.
6. Provide technical solution for Qlik Sense Business Intelligence platform.
7. Leading architecture/design sessions and writing technical architecture/design documents.
8. Managing technical scope and providing hands-on expert level assistance.
9. Assistance with server configuration including end-user access, data load configuration, authorization process design.
10. Establishing processes and library of reusable objects (fields, calculations, KPI, etc).
11. Designing self-service processes.

Minimum Experience / Education:
A 4 year college degree with at least 5 years relevant work experience or at least 7 years of relevant experience demonstrating progressively increasing levels of responsibility in software development. Experience working with on-shore/off-shore organizational model. Continued education and certifications for technology currency is expected for this position.

Communication and Collaboration Skills:
Written: Excellent writing skills to produce documents for both technical and non-technical audiences are required.

Oral: Must be able to verbally communicate clearly with any audience. This includes both understanding the audience and being understood by the audience. Must be able to give Technical Presentations clearly and effectively.

Mentoring: Will provide training and mentoring to other Technical Staff.

Technical Knowledge:
Must demonstrate computer programming skills such as analysis, design, coding, debugging and testing used in complex application development and overall system design. Must keep technical skills current as appropriate to position.

Problem Solving:
This position will require the individual to interpret complex requirements/issues and work independently or as a lead to address the necessary steps to complete the technical documentation and programming needed to implement solutions. The individual must be able to identify and implement key opportunities while researching potential solutions.
