Description- Generating, underwriting and analyzing for non-profit based organizations. Products of focus include; Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices liability, Fiduciary/Pension Liability and Cyber Liability. - External market facing position that includes significant production growth goals within the Specialties organization. - Administering and monitoring underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations and rating manual rules. - Develop long lasting and productive relationships with the external broker and agency communities as well as other internal AmTrust business units. - Team based collaborative approach to underwriting that includes numerous face to face customer and broker interactions. - Identify and calculate the potential risk of loss from policyholders while establishing appropriate premium rates following AmTrust guidelines.

Position Requirements- 2+ Years of Underwriting experience or Management Liability lines of business experience. - Technical knowledge and skills reflective of progression of positions of increasing responsibility. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree - Experience underwriting Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices liability, Fiduciary/Pension Liability and/or Cyber liability. line/s of business and legal and regulatory guidelines. - Superior skills in relationship building, active listening, needs analysis, and win-win negotiating. - Demonstrates strong work ethic and organizational skill - Possess knowledge of time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Strong negotiation skills. - Strong knowledge of underwriting philosophy, techniques, national/local filing regulations and guidelines. - Ability to effectively assess risk. - Ability to multi-task. - Must be able to function effectively in team environment. - PC literate. #li-post
