DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks for the Legal department including review/editing of basic contracts and marketing materials, and maintaining files/file database. Provide additional support for various special legal projects, including those that may involve research. Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following.
  • Coordinates with Legal and other internal departments regarding new contracts, contract renewals, amendments and other contract documentation.
  • Assists in the review of all marketing materials, marketing-oriented websites, email templates, advertisements and processes to ensure compliance with applicable law/regulations and corporate policies/standards.
  • Provide support for the Legal team on a variety of Legal and Operational tasks.
  • Assist Legal team members in the interpretation of agreements, policies, procedures, and effectively communicate finding to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Hands-on involvement with Legal/Compliance team, Operations staff, and third-party vendors.
  • Assist Legal team members in researching various applicable laws and regulations in determining their impact on Legal projects.
  • Prior experience in a Legal/Compliance department or comparable Project Management experience preferred.
  • Experience maintaining Legal files/contract database, and/or with electronic document signature platforms (e.g. DocuSign, etc.) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, tact, diplomacy and a high level of professionalism to effectively interact with both internal and external contacts, and coordinate legal activities.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize and solve problems effectively regarding basic matters.
  • Ability to deliver results with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
