The MCL Account Executive will be responsible for developing acquiring new business; securing MCL account nominations, growing current clients business as well as expanding our current clients LOB opportunities. The MCL Account Executive will be assigned a group of current clients, new target clients as well as oversee major initiatives.


• Focus primarily on local market to secure account nominations from brokers, risk managers and carriers.
• Maintain market presence and target opportunities in secondary locations within applicable territory.
• Work with leadership to develop a pipeline.
• Attend monthly reviews prospect funnel, open RFP's and sales activity and success
• Work with Account Management on current account growth opportunities
• Ensure collaboration with MCL colleagues to pursue new opportunities
• Be self-accountable to budgeted goals and professional expectations
• Work with leadership to draw up budgeted goals and growth for targeted accounts
• Strengthen the brand of Cunningham Lindsey by marketing at trade shows and taking part in professional organizations
• Manage growth initiatives with leadership
• Maintain a professional template for proposals
• Establish competitive market intelligence so CL can leverage our advantages in the market place
• Manage sales input into CL CRM tracking RFP's, RFI's, YTD performance, contact information, call notes, etc.
• Work with Accounts Receivable to keep our aged report to a minimum
• MCL Executive will either work from home or from the most convenient Cunningham Lindsey office location as determined by leadership
• Frequent travel is required

• Four year college degree and/or equivalent work experience
• At least 5 years as an Account Executive preferably in the IA industry
• Attendance at an accredited claims adjusting educational institute or claim adjusting experience would be helpful
• Exemplary oral and written communication skills along with the ability to make presentations.
• Excellent relationship building skills.
• Understanding of the IA market place, large loss adjusting space and knowledge of competing firms
• Demonstrated creativity and sensitivity in approaching potential clients as well as existing clients when discussing pricing and service delivery arrangements
• High energy level coupled with flexibility and resilience
• Excellent time management skills
