Job Summary:

This role will offer the opportunity for exposure to all facets of HR as well as driving management decisions in a nimble and growing private company. It will partner closely with Finance and senior leadership to assess and align our compensation schemes and to develop and implement policies and practices that will support our strategic growth. It will also focus on the collection, analysis, and management of data to drive management decisions.


Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

The duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Analysis, implementation and administration of compensation programs, policies and procedures
  • Tracking and maintaining a central record of liabilities and contractual obligations
  • Liaising closely with Finance on planning, accruals, and actuals
  • Commission reconciliation process (in partnership with Finance
  • Benchmarking to determine competitive positioning and providing recommendations on pay structure and guidelines
  • Year-end compensation planning of merit increases and bonuses; Develop salary and bonus guidelines across 20+ U.S. locations. Preparation of communication materials
  • Preparation of reports and delivery of insights through analysis, trending and tracking key data
  • Preparation of key documentation (ie- statements, letters, contracts) relative to employee compensation
  • Manipulation of data and preparation of upload templates
  • Monitoring of legislation that may affect comp-related matters
  • Partnering with HR and Finance team members on various projects

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in business, management, finance/accounting or similar quantitative field is preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in a similar analytical role; Finance background a plus
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to create a presentation-ready product
  • Demonstrated strength to deliver results and implement change
  • Advanced practical knowledge of Excel; Powerpoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced and growing environment
  • Position may require occasional travel

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to regularly sit, hear, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
