Merchants Insurance Group is seeking an experienced, professional Sr. Multi-Line Claim Adjuster to join our claims team in Bedford, New Hampshire Regional Office.  The Multi-Line Adjuster will be responsible for the investigation, evaluation, and settlement of commercial lines 1st and 3rd party casualty claims primarily focusing on Commercial Auto and General Liability.  This position will be responsible for managing Litigated Claims throughout New England.  Claim and/or Claim Litigation experience in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, or Rhode Island is a plus.  This is an inside position, with occasional travel to attend depositions, mediations, and trials.

The ideal candidate will have a college degree and have earned their Associate in Claims (AIC) designation or CPCU designation, with an interest in pursuing additional Professional Insurance Education.  Minimum 5+ years of experience handling 3 or more lines of business to include at least one of the following lines of business:  Workers' Compensation, Property or Casualty as well as Litigation.  Must either possess or obtain required state licensing within 6 months of hire.
