The Virginia Property Insurance Association has an entry level position for the right candidate who is interested in learning insurance. The assistant will provide administrative support to underwriters, claims adjusters and managers. This individual should be self-motivated, well organized and task oriented. This position is responsible for underwriting and claims data entry, answering customer service phone calls and general administrative/clerical work.
High School graduate is required. College degree is preferred. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
