Your services will be needed to assist in the production of new accounts and the retention of existing accounts - Prepare auto ID cards, evidence of property, summary of insurance, and binders – obtain information requested by the company underwriter – remarket accounts as needed for renewals – review company issued new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating, typing, endorsement forms and coverage – handle telephone requests – process cancellation requests – process claims and follow up as needed – cross sell existing books for additional lines of coverage – service personal lines accounts in a manner to eliminate gaps on coverage – continue professional development.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Applicant must be an assertive, self-starter with the ability to influence others. Must be looking for a long term position/career where you can grow and advance in. Applicant should be able to demonstrate effective presentation skills through both verbal and written communications. Provide with a positive attitude, a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing accounts.
Two plus year’s experience and must have all licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to discuss and/or sell insurance in the states where the agency functions. Ability to use personal computer, calculator, agency automation system, and proficiency in various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.
