The ITSM Process Manager Technician will lead the efforts to develop, document, implement, and drive the activities around managing our ITSM Processes and will conduct monitoring for process/Inventory accuracies through the use of internal controls, metrics and reporting. These duties will be conducted in the normal course of operations through ITSM process management activities, comparisons, reconciliations and other routine actions. The ITSM Process Manager – Technician will be responsible to implement and maintain the ITSM Process Management Strategy and will drive day to day activities across one or more Investments Technology groups to ensure that the Area Process Management approach is effectively managed and maintained from a governance and on-going operations perspective.
Understands advanced concepts and navigates the relationships between ITSM Processes, IT Service Management Process requirements, and business/IT management needs that are moderate to complex in nature which may span multiple ITSM Processes.
Acts as an authoritative source of knowledge for one or more ITSM processes.
Manages the design, implementation and/or coordination for one or more ITSM Process policies, roles and responsibilities, and compliance.
Manages an ITSM Process within Allstate and for the performance, maturity, and compliance of the ITSM Process.
Manage and determine the tools and processes to gather and create ITSM Process requirements or process improvements.
Manages and drives Continual Service Improvement across one or more ITSM Processes.
Manages the development and delivery of Executive Level communications relevant to the ITSM process, process performance, process maturity or technology aligned to strategic objectives and business needs.
Manages the communication, marketing, and training for the one or more ITSM Processes.
Manages the escalation / communication of risks and issues as appropriate.
Manages and drives industry and internal benchmarking to ensure fit for purpose and best in class process delivery / execution.
Manages design, implementation s and/or coordination the ITSM Process services.
Manages and support analysis of ITSM Process execution, efficiency, effectiveness, and process management activities as required by the Process Owners and other organizations.
Manages the analysis and recommendations for ITSM Process cost saving opportunities.
• Responsible for the development and execution of the ITSM Process and integration across processes
• Responsible for the effectiveness of the process
• Drives the day to day activities to ensure the accuracy and maintenance of the ITSM Process
• Leads the appropriate ITSM Process boards and committees
• Leads the process Continual Service Improvement efforts
• ITIL v3 Foundations Certification
• 2 ITIL Intermediate or Expert Capability Certificate (appropriate processes)
• Cobit Framework Foundations
• Deep Knowledge with the related ITSM Processes and Polices
