Berkley Regional Specialty Insurance Company (BRSIC) is part of the W. R. Berkley Corporation, a Fortune 500 company. We were formed in 2005 to creatively access the property and casualty Surplus Lines market for W. R. Berkley Corporation, by working directly with selected local independent agencies.

BRSIC is an innovative enterprise that believes being closer to the customer responsible for the placement of the insurance coverage on behalf of the policyholder provides a better information exchange vehicle for transacting Surplus Lines business. Our product simplifications, combined with a passion for great service, have enabled BRSIC to establish new standards of customer expectations for the placement of Surplus Lines insurance. A sense of urgency and excitement emanates throughout the organization as we capitalize on opportunities now, while simultaneously preparing for future market cycle changes.

BRSIC�s approach results in time and cost savings for its retail producers and the ultimate customer, the policyholder. The Home Office is located in Scottsdale, Arizona with regional branch offices to better service our customers. Current products consist of commercial general liability, which comprises approximately 80% of the premiums written, with commercial property and inland marine exposures representing 20%. Berkley Regional Specialty ultimately plans to be authorized in all 50 states to accommodate their contracted agencies� geographic needs, including multi-state risks.
